A grieving Mexican father is demanding justice and suing his ex-wife and her boyfriend after the death of her daughter.
The girl died after a secret breast augmentation and Brazilian butt lift (BBL) performed by her mother’s boyfriend, a plastic surgeon.

According to reports, the surgeries include breast implants (augmentation), liposuction, and a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).
14-year-old Paloma Nicole Arellano Escobedo, died on September 20th, in a hospital in Durango after being in a coma for a week.

She suffered brain swelling and heart problems after undergoing the procedures, according to local reports.
The girl’s father, Carlos Arellano,, was not aware of the surgery as he claims his consent was not sought before the procedure.
Instead, he was initially informed that his daughter had died of COVID-19 complications.

According to him, he only learned the truth during her funeral when relatives pointed out that her body looked different.
“At the funeral, some relatives told me her breasts were larger than before,” Arellano told prosecutors. “When I mentioned it to her mother, she denied knowing anything.”

Authorities in Durango have opened a homicide investigation into the case. The surgeon is being investigated for carrying out the surgery on a minor without proper consent.
