American media personality, Steve Harvey has given some points to consider when you want to be successful, saying “you’ve got to pick your hard.”

He first of all highlighted on how hard being successful is and went on to say that one cannot take God out of the equation because everyone needs God.
He went on and on about how hard it was to do anything so it’s just a matter of you knowing what you want to do and how to handle the challenges that comes with it.

He said, “I’m sorry but you just need God. This (success) is too hard without him (God). Success is hard. Lemme tell you about this hard thing. You’ve got to pick what hard you want but it’s hard either way.”
“It’s hard to be physically fit, it’s hard to go to the gym and try to get in shape. It’s hard but it’s hard being obese. It’s hard to become an entrepreneur, to go and open up a business.”

“For me it was hard to work from 9-5. It’s hard to be rich cos it takes a lot but it’s hard to be poor. So pick your hard and think about the hard cos everything you do, you will have some challenges,” he concluded.
