Shatta Wale advice youths not to join protests, argued that it is political and influencers are paid for it

Ghanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has broken his silence on some ongoing issues in the country.

The past few days have been issues surrounding a protest against illegal mining, which is locally termed as galamsey.

Some large number of youths have already embarked on several demonstrations with some also scheduled to come on later next month.

However, Shatta Wale seems not to buy into the idea of demonstrations and Gabe some interesting reasons.

He argued that many of the protests are politically influenced and went on to accuse social media influencers of receiving money from politicians.

According to him, the only way things would get better in the country is when the citizens become united and join hands together to fight corruption.
