A delegation from the West African Elders Forum (WAEF), has held a meeting with Ghana’s security taskforce.
The meeting was spearhead by former Nigerian President, His Excellency (H.E.) Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.

They met with the National Elections Security Taskforce (NESTF) at the National Police Headquarters in Accra as part of pre-election stakeholder engagements.
Chairman of NESTF, Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, briefed the delegation on the preparations and strategies in place to ensure peaceful elections on 7th December 2024.
H.E. Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, in his address, applauded the Taskforce for its dedication to protecting Ghana’s democratic reputation, both within West Africa and across the continent.
