“No gala, no vote” – Group of Galamsey boys threaten to vote against any government that bans illegal mining

Some young Ghanaians who are engaged in illegal mining are also having their own protest.

The Galamseyers are threatening that they will not vote for any government who bans the act.

In a TikTok video that has since gone viral, they could be heard in the video saying “No gala, no vote”.

The issue of Galamsey have been a major problem in the West African country for years now and isn’t looking good at this stage.

Various water bodies are being destroyed by the illegal act and now threatens some part of the country with water crises.

However, the illegal miners seems not to know the length of damage they have caused so far and still threatening not to vote if it is banned.
