Michael Blackson laments on the current cedi to dollar ratio

Michael Blackson has taken to X, formerly twitter to lament on the current cedi to dollar ratio and how he has to increase the salary of his employees.

In his post, he revealed about a year ago, when he began running his school in Ghana, $1 was less than ¢10 but now, a dollor is currently ¢16.

Due to this, he has to give his employees at his school a raise so that their salary can match the current increase in the dollar.

He wrote, “Damn if $1 is almost 16 cedis I definitely have to give the employees at my school a raise. I feel so bad for them because $1 was less than 10 cedis when I opened the school a year and a few months ago.”
