In an unusual turn of events, a businessman in Brazil is willing to will all his fortune to Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior.
The 31-year-old businessman from Rio Grande do Sul has officially registered a will leaving his entire $1.01 billion (R$6.1 billion) fortune to the football star.
The will includes his entire $1.01 billion fortune which will be handed to his favorite footballer in case of his death.
According to documents obtained by the local media, the will was certified on June 12, 2025, at the 9th Notary Office of Porto Alegre. It has been authenticated with two witnesses and complies with all Brazilian succession law.

Due to health complications, the businrssman’s identity remains hidden. It is however known that he is single, childless, and has no direct heirs.

In a statement provided by the billionaire’s lawyer, he expressed deep admiration for Neymar, citing the footballer’s close relationship with his father and his perceived authenticity as reasons for the extraordinary decision.
“Neymar represents something special to me,” the businessman reportedly said, though no personal connection between the two has been confirmed.
The will’s registration is now under review by Brazilian courts to determine its validity and Neymar’s status as the sole heir.
Neymar, whose current net worth is estimated to be around $350 million according to multiple sources could see a sudden surge if the will pulls through.
