The case between the state of Utah and Tyler Robinson has been a fast-paced one as the evidence keeps popping up.
During a virtual hearing headed by Judge Tony Graf Jr. from Utah’s Fourth District Court, the prosecutor revealed they have filed for death penalty.

The deputy prosecutor, from the Utah County Attorney’s Office, is Chad Grunander, who announced the aggravated murder charges and the intent to seek the death penalty.
When asked to give his address, Chad stated that the notice of intent to seek the death penalty had been filed by Utah County Attorney, Jeff Gray.
Tyler who was only asked to state his name sat through the session unbothered about the penalty.
Later, Congressman Randy Fine also added via a post on X that Tyler should be in front of a firing squad. He added that they need to make an example out of him.

- Committing a violent crime in the presence of children.
Utah County has relentlessly been pushing for the death penalty for the murder charge. The state is one of the few that still permits the death penalty as punishment.
