In a world where racism seems to be an unending canker, a man has sued his employer for racism discrimination after he was treated unfairly.
He won the case and faced the same problem at the bank, where he went to clear the cheque.

This unfortunate incident happened to Sauntore Thomas, an Air Force veteran from Michigan, America.

According to Thomas, he won the first suit and proceeded to the bank for withdrawal, but immediately the teller saw his cheque, they called the Police to come pick him up for investigations because they thought he was engaging in a fraudulent activity.

The victim claimed he was humiliated after he was treated differently because of his complexion.

Sauntore sued the bank, and this is what his Attorney, Deborah Gordon, said: “This is what happens when a black person tries to bank. They just saw a black guy and were like, What was he doing with his money? There’s no explanation for this situation other than the fact that my client is an African American.”

Attorney Deborah revealed that the bank did not provide any legitimate explanations for why they invited police after her client presented his cheque to them, which is very insensitive of them to abuse people racially.

Reports indicate that the bank apologised for their actions, but Thoman Sauntore went ahead to sue them in 2020 for an undisclosed amount to teach them a bitter lesson on how to treat all humans equally, regardless of their complexion.
