A Ghanaian trader has complained bitterly about senior high school teachers ruining their trading business as the academic year resumes.
The trader disclosed that for the past years, when high schools were admitting Form 1 students, the market used to boom, but now everything has changed, and they stand a chance of losing their business capital.

She claimed to enquire about why parents are not buying ‘back to school’ products like chop box, Gari, trunk, book, pencil, exercise books, toiletries, brooms, and all other things students will need for learning, and to her surprise, a parent told her they bought everything in the school.

According to the frustrated trader, the market has been slow ever since the BECE results came out because the parents are not buying like they did last year.
She pleaded with the President to take swift action against Senior High School teachers who are now selling pajamas, Bedsheets, toiletries, and stationery in schools.

Parents who have taken their wards to school have been speaking about this issue, and the trader just confirmed it to be true.
School was supposed to be a place for gaining knowledge, but teachers are not content with their monthly salary, so they have decided to engage in extracurricular activities to become rich overnight.
