The Power struggle in the late Charles Kwadwo Fosu, also known as Daddy Lumba, continues as 2 women. he was involved with a woman who wants to be the widow.
In the Akan Tradition, the woman who was married to the entertainer will perform widowhood rites during and after his burial.
Daddy Lumba reportedly had 4 children with 4 women, and their names were Akosua Serwaa( 4 children, including twins), Priscilla Ofori-Atta (5 children, including twins), Maame Ahima (1 child), and one woman(whose Identity is withheld by the family.
Akosua Serwaa was his legal wife; they married in Germany on December 23, 2004, and lived together for 21 years until his death, according to the law.

Lumba left Germany for Ghana in 2015 to stay permanently because he is constantly getting ill. He met Priscilla in Ghana, and they lived together till his death.
After his demise, the 2 women above are both claiming to be the sole widows, and this has caused serious tension.

The first wife, Serwaa, placed an injunction on the funeral, which was to take place on December 6, 2025, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, after the family refused to include her in the funeral planning.
Today, October 28, 2025, the family was at the Kumasi Appeal Court, and the family lawyer, Fati Ali-Yallah, associated with Baba Jamal and Associates, after the hearing, told the general public that they appealed for the removal of the injunction placed on the funeral by Akosua Serwaa, and the court granted their request.

The family is currently divided into two, with some supporting Priscilla Ofori-Atta(Odo Broni) and people who believe the laws should side with Akosua Serwaa.
People who want peace to reign are suggesting the two should perform the rites.
