Diamond Platnumz deletes all photos with Tanzania President, Samia Hassan Amid Protest

Music Giant in the Eastern Part of Africa, Diamond Platnumz, has been forced to delete all campaign posts with the Tanzanian President, Her Excellency Samia Suluhu Hassan.

There are ways to get the votes of the masses, so politicians resort to paying popular figures like musicians and actors to tap into their influence, but this did not end well for Hassan and Diamond.

On October 29, 2025, Tanzanians exercised their franchise, but before that day, the current President, Her Excellency Samia Sululu, had arrested most of her Vibrant opponents and had others disqualified from the polls.
The people sensed this foul play and decided to protest, and by so doing, the election turned chaotic as they could not end it peacefully.

Hassan’s government did not allow any international media to report on the elections, and even some journalists in Tanzania were not accredited to report on them. And there was poor internet service to avoid the circulation of information, which triggered the youth.

They stepped out with all confidence to speak against the democratic ruler who wants to rule like a military leader, and they did not spare Diamond, who urged his fans to vote for Samia.

A video of Diamond was circulating where he stated that the people are their own enemies because they make the country hard and blame the government.

The Electoral Authorities were planning on declaring the available results even though most people did not vote.

This triggered the youth of Tanzania who had access to the internet and forced the singer to delete all his campaign posts with the President, which obviously dissociated him from the politician and solidarity with the masses.

The Protesters claim the government is undermining democracy and ruling with a stiff hand, making Tanzania a living hell.
