Trevor Noah was one of the hosts at the Grammys, which happened on February 1, 2026, for his sixth and last time.

He is known for expensive jokes and funny statements at gatherings, but his recent speech might land him in trouble.
During Trevor’s congratulatory speech to Billie Eilish for winning the Song of the Year at the Grammys, he said that it is a milestone every entertainer wants to achieve, and made a reference to Donald Trump by saying, “Almost as Trump wants Greenland as Epstein’s Island is no more.”

Donald Trump has expressed his displeasure with what Trevor did and is planning to sue him for the defamatory statement.
The US President has been eager to claim Greenland, a territory under the kingdom of Denmark, by all means, according to reports.
The Jeffrey Epstein Island is one hell of an expose which features popular figures in the world who went there to engage in unpardonable actions, which ended up being leaked on the internet.
Trevor’s joke literally means the US President wants Greenland to create another Epstein Island for his friends.
Trump has denied all allegations linking him to the leaked footage from the island, but he might use Trevor to set the record straight with some action.
