Europe is afraid of Iran after two of their ballistic missiles travel 4000KM to hit a joint U.S. – U.K. Base

Iranian missiles have tried to target the joint US-UK military base in Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.

On Friday, two missiles were launched by Iran, according to reports from UK Defence Secretary John Healey.

However, one of the missiles failed to reach its target while the other one got shot down while in the air.

Although Iran says it has limited the range of its missiles to just 2,000km, their new target raises questions as Diego Garcia is nearly 2,500 miles (4,000km) from Iran.

The attempt by Iran has fuelled fears as the possibility of Iran also targeting much of Europe, even London in the future.

Reports indicate that Britain does not have the technology or ability to defend itself against these strikes.

However, Europe as a whole is well defended thanks to U.S. bases in Poland and Romania. These military bases have specifically interceptor missiles specifically for Middle East attacks.

There are still doubts about the capability of Iranian missiles to reach targets so far away. But the one which failed last Friday managed to travel 3,000km from its launching base.
