Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje: The Hollywood Star Actor.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, born in August 22nd 1967 is an actor, writer, director, producer and fashion model based in London. Adewale was born to Nigerian yoruba parents.

Adewale studied at London’s King College and University of London International programme. at an early age of six years. His biological parents gave him up to white working class couple in Tilbury Essex. His biological father was a lorry driver who did not earn much to cater for his ten african siblings.

At the age of eight, Adewale was flown to Nigeria but was sent back to Tilbury Essex because he was unable to speak the Yoruba language and was aslo forbidden to speak the English language in their hometown. The fight to reconcile his heritage after visiting Nigeria proved futile when he joined a skinhead gang in order to escape racial persecution.

He grew to be a thief at age sixteen until his foster parents sent him to a boarding school in Surrey where Adewale attempted to commit suicide before he embraced himself for whom he was and turned a new leaf. He studied to earn a law degree at king’s college in London while also working in a clothing shop.

His modelling passion which he discovered while working at the clothing shop led him to hollywood.

Adewale raises to fame

He has since acted in HBO prison series OZ, Lost, When Nature calls, The mummies return, The rise of Cobra playing the roles as Simon Adebisi, Mr. Eko, Hitu the police officer, Lock-Nah and Heavy duty respectively.

He was also featured in the music video of song writer and singer, Grayson hugh’s hit song titled ‘Talk it over’

In 2019, Adewale almost landed a role as the blank panther in a film of the same name. He guest starred in the second episode of the eight season in Monk and played the role Derek Jameson in the movie, The thing in 2011. He voiced the lead character in Bilal the movie and in 2016, he co-starred in the DC Comics film Suicide Squad, as the Batman villain Killer Croc.

Adewale is not married. According to reports, he has never been married nor has he dated any woman since his booming career as an actor. It has however been confirmed from the actor that he’s committed to a woman who is not known to the public eye. He casts as Malko in the fifth season of the viral seasonal film, Game of thrones.
