Afia Pokua cries out to God after her apology got rejected by the elders of Manhyia Palace

Ghanaian journalist, Afia Pokua, also known as Vim lady has cried out to God over her ongoing predicament with the Asantehene and the Manhyia Palace.

In a post by @eddie_wrt on X, he revealed Afia Pokua has voiced out her frustrations on God as she currently has no one else to turn to after her apology was rejected.

She cried out, “Lord God Almighty, hear my cry! I am facing rejection and disgrace, suffering from pain, fear and I am in constant sorrow. Who do I turn to? Where do I go? Where do I belong? Lord, hear my cry.”

“Sister Felicia Boadu, Düsseldolf, Germany, thank you for this song. When you say a prayer, kindly say one for me. I need it now more than ever.”

Afia Pokua was summoned to the Manhyia Palace to apologise for saying that the Asantehene has maintained silence on the conflicts between his subjects and other tribes during a show with Mona Gucci.

She also spoke about her frustrations on the Ashantis feeling superior to other tribes, whiles the King has refused to put them to order.

These comments didn’t go down well with the Ashantis and caused her, together with the host, Mona Gucci to be summoned to the Palace to apologise to the king and his kingdom.

Unfortunately, after kneeling to ask for forgiveness, they rejected her apology and asked her to take her cursed self home and deal with whatever comes after her.
