Alban Bagbin is the worst, partisan, and biased Speaker of Parliament in Ghana’s History – Dennis Miracle Aboagye

The leading and most outspoken communicator of the New Patriotic Party, Dennis Miracle Aboagye, has described Ghana’s current Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, as the worst Ghana has ever had.

This comes after the minority and majority had a scuffle in the Parliament House under his watch regarding a motion about the Kpandai seat re-run.

According to Miracles, the Speaker is supposed to be the father for both sides and not be biased in times like this, which undermines Ghana’s democracy bragging rights.

Miracles said from the previous Parliament and the current one have both been chaotic on different occasions, and it’s on the Speaker’s head.

He presided over the 8th Parliament when the NPP had a majority, and the NDC had a Majority in the 9th Parliament, but Bagbin’s leadership has been poor.

Most Ghanaians have criticised the MPs without mincing words. They fight regularly whenever the two sides disagree on a motion.

On December 9, 2025, a video from the Parliament of Ghana was on the internet, showing honorable members of the house pushing each other.

Alban Bagbin came out of one of the doors and saw the MPs fighting, but he looked helpless as he was unable to stop the chaos.

Dennis criticised the speaker for moving and approving a motion in chaos.

He stated emphatically that the Bagbin has been inconsistent with most of his decisions in Parliament, and that makes him a poor leader.

Ending his submission, he urged the NDC government to deliver on the promises they made to Ghanaians and stop arresting people for no reason.
