American pastor sentenced to 35 years !imprisonment for stealing churches


An American pastor has been handed 35 years in prison after he was found guilty of taking some amount of money from churches.

The man who is a pastor based in Texas, was handed the sentence after a jury found him guilty of stealing from three churches valued at more than $800,000.

The pastor, identified as Whitney Foster and 56 of age is a preacher at the True Foundation nondenominational church which is located in Dallas.

According to the jury, the convicted pastor was the leader of a small congregation that did not have a physical place to meet and worship.

He rportedly filed fraudulent property deeds, listing a fake pastor or other church officials of the congregations from which he was found guilty during trials.

The three churches involved in his fraudulent a g involves First Christian Church, which is located in Lancaster, Texas, Canada Drive Christian Church and Church at Ninevah.

The above-named churches were listed as the three churches that he had stolen properties from and till now two of the three churches are still listed in his name.

“Stealing real estate is an incredibly serious and damaging crime, It’s worse than the theft of someone’s vehicle or other possessions. When someone steals property, we must hold them accountable because they are hurting people.” John Creuzot, Dallas County criminal district attorney, said in a statement during the trial that led to Forster’s imprisonment.
