The France Football Magazine, an organization that annually organizes a gala to award the best footballers in the world, just concluded its the 69th version.
Ousmane Dembele, the French International who plays for Paris Saint-Germain in France, clinched the top spot after a wonderful season.
The Battle was a fierce one between Lamine Yamal, a great prospect, and Dembele.

The Magazine just revealed the number points the top 10 candidates got, and the gaps between the 10 are very wide.
Dembele of PSG won the ultimate after leading his team to a historic feat by winning the domestic treble, winning the French League 1, the Coupe de France, and the Trophee des Champions(Super Cup).
His side later conquered the whole of Europe by winning the UEFA Champions League for the first time in club history, and the second club to win the UCL from France.

Ousmane Dembele claimed the ultimate prize with 1380 points while his stubborn opponent, Lamine Yamal, finished second with 1059 votes, which is quite impressive from all angles, even though the gap is wide.
The Criteria for the award were Individual Brilliance and decisiveness as a player, Team Achievements and Class, and fair play.
Lamine’s team won the Spanish La Liga, Copa Del Rey, and Super Copa de España, and he provided 21 goals and 22 assists in 62 games while Dembele finished the season with 39 Goals and 14 assists in 61 games and also finished as the French Ligue 1 best player and joint top-scorer and UEFA Player of the 2024/25 season.

According to L’Equipe, the biggest Sports Media in France, 70 out of 100 Journalists chose Demeble as the best player in the world, hence the wide gap.
One player whose position confused a lot of football fans after a masterclass season is Raphinha; he finished 5th.
