The Former Minister of Agriculture under President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, who aspires to lead the party, has dropped a bombshell on why they lost the 2024 election with a huge gap.

According to the former minister, the Government established Nation Builders Corps, NABCO to employ the youth to reduce the high rate of unemployment, but Bawumia could not pay them.

The Personnel worked for months with a salary, so they complained for months. Bryan has exposed Bawumia as they sold bearer of the salary responsibility, but he refused to disburse funds, so they got angry and voted against the NPP.

The Aspirant, during his campaign, also said that President Akufo-Addo told Ghanaians that Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia was the solution to all the economic problems in Ghana, but he took the exchange rate from 4.50 Gp to 17 Cedis and blamed it all on COVID instead of owning up to his mistakes.
