Burna Boy’s Grammy Award ‘trophy’ finally lands in Nigeria
Nigerian musician, Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy has finally taken delivery of his Grammy award.
The ‘Ye’ singer emerged victorious at the 63rd edition of the Grammy Awards where his much talked about album, ‘Twice as Tall’ was adjudged Best Global Music Album of the year 2020.
With the Ceremony held virtually due to fears of COVID-19, the musician couldn’t get his hands on the trophy.

This morning a delivery has finally been made to him with the Award’s trophy and he happily took to his Instagram handle to made it known to the world with some emotional caption.

They asked my sisters for stellar degrees; one got a first class in Finance, the other got a Distinction in Engineering. They asked me for a Grammy, and here we are. I am a product of sacrifice!
