After almost 5 seasons with Newcastle, Ghanaian international Christian Atsu is saying a goodbye to the English side after his contract with the club expired.
Atsu who is now 29 years joined Newcastle from Chelsea on a permanent deal after he impressed the club on his loan spell.
His first 3 seasons with the club went well but fall off the radar under Steve Bruce.
Atsu was left out of Newcastle squad for the Just ended 2020/2021 season and has not actively played for the club after his knee injury which forced him to announce his retirement from the black stars.
Championship side Huddersfield among others according to rumour are after the Ghanaian winger since he is currently without a club.
Christian Atsu took to his social media platform to thank supporters of Newcastle and everyone at the club for all the seasons he spent at St James Park and wished them well in the future.
