“Clash of Titans” Argentina set up mouthwatering Copa America Final clash with Brazil (Highlights)


The finals of the Copa America 2021 is set and it’s worth watching as Brazil and Argentina are set to battle it out for the most prestigious international trophy in the Southern part of America.

Brazil earlier beat Peru to land themselves in the finals awaiting the winner between Argentina and Columbia.

Argentina took the lead early in the first half through a Lautaro Martinez strike, thanks to a sublime assist from Lionel Messi, a disciplined Columbia side fought their fought their way back into the game and got the equalizer late in the second half to send the game into Extra time.

Both teams remain unhurt in the extra 30 minutes and it all comes down to the lottery, a penalty shootout where Argentina emerged victorious with Former Gunners goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez saving two of Colombia’s 3 missed penalties.

The final is now set to take place on the 11th of July and No doubt all eyes will be on two of the world’s biggest super stars, Newmar and Messi who is in desperate need to land a first ever major international trophy.

Winning the world best player for six good times is already a clear statement of the caliber of player the Argentine is but his inability to lift an international trophy is what has always been missing in a decorated career.
