During the funeral, Priscilla Ofori-Atta, the woman Daddy Lumba affectionately called “Odo Broni,” performed the widowhood rites as a customary wife.

This sparked conversation on Akosua Serwaa’s absence.

On Adom Tv, Papa Shee, a prodigy of Daddy Lumba who became his brother after decades of friendship, disclosed on the Badwam show that Akosua Serwaa, the first wife, was not given an official invitation to the funeral by the family head so she was in Germany during the funeral.

According to Papa Shee, Akosua Serwaa wanted the funeral to be delayed for a proper organisation that would befit her husband because he was not just an ordinary member of the society but a Legendary Musician who took over Africa with his sweet melodies and Co-pioneered Borga High-Life Music in Germany.

Most of her family also resides outside Ghana, so they were all unable to make it.

A day before the funeral, the Accra High Court upheld an injunction to halt the funeral, but moments later, the plaintiff, Akosua Bempomaa, was to provide ¢2 million to compensate the family head for all the preparations he had made.

The Ultimatum was by 2 PM, even though she got the money, but it was too late.
