One of the pioneers of Raggae and Dancehall music in Ghana, Samini, has shared a life experience about how a health disorder developed in his body for 10 years without his knowledge.

Popular personalities keep most of the happenings in their lives because the moment the information gets leaked, they might trend for a month.

The entertainer, during a health podcast, opened up about how he was having some abdominal pains, which were not that serious, so he kept it to himself instead of seeking health advice.

After the recurring pain kept increasing, his personal doctor conducted some tests on his body, and the results suggested that he had been developing a hernia for the last 10 years.

Most of the time, when people hear about a Hernia, the first picture that comes to mind is a swollen Hernia.
The musician said his test result communicated that he was still developing, and it would have been big in some years to come if he had not known about it.

Samini said his doctors advised him to go for surgery to remove it and keep his life after surgery for 3 months.

He said this experience was years ago, but he wants to educate people to know how serious it is.

According to the singer, his surgeon told him musicians who perform live are prone to having abdominal pains that can develop into a hernia because of the air they keep in while they perform live. He said Hernia can develop in both male and female singers who mostly perform live.

This experience is the reason why people should take regular health check-ups seriously.
