Ghanaian musician, Irene Logan switches from secular music to gospel

One of Ghana’s angelic voices in the music industry, Irene Logan has revealed she has now switched from secular music to gospel and has even released her first gospel song, “El Arukah.”

Following this, she has revealed she will be using the stage name, Grace Osei and will no longer use Irene Logan.

According to her, Grace Osei is part of her name but she never used it and she’s nce she is now going to be a gospel musician, she prefers she uses that instead.

On why she now wants to do Gospel, she revealed she has always had that urge to spread the gospel through music so it’s something that naturally happened since it’s time.

She said, “I was born Irene Elizabeth Grace Logan. My entire life story and journey has been a journey of faith and grace.”

“Nothing else made more sense than to fully embrace that name. For me, Grace is a strong statement and a personal declaration of faith.

“The shift from secular music to gospel was not difficult for me. I have always felt the call to spread the gospel, so the decision to leave the ‘world’ behind was more of a natural progression.”

I’ve always had that within me. The moment I decided to step fully into the gospel, it didn’t feel difficult at all. It was just like coming home.”
