Pogba Throws support for English trio who are being racially abused for missing crucial penalties against Italy
England crashed out in the final of the euro 2020 finals against Italy after losing on penalties.
Players to have missed the penalties are Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford, Arsenal wonder-kid Saka and newly signed United winger Jadon Sancho.
This was England’s first euro final and all seed well when Luke Shaw struck in the first minute of the game after connecting with Trippier.
A resilient Italy eventually equalized through defender Bonucci in the 67th minutes.
The defeat of the English team has resulted in some persons on social media making racial comment against Rashford, Saka and Sancho who are blacks.
These actions has seen mass condemnation by football legends, clubs and even individuals.
The latest person to add his voice to the development is Paul Pogba, in post the midfielder shared social media, he stated he is proud of Rashford, Sancho and Saka and said they showed bravery by taking the penalties just that in football sometimes you have to lose but still life goes on.
