The unrest in Iran for almost a month has caused President Donald Trump to intervene to ensure peace and stability are reinstated in the country.
Iranians have been protesting for almost a month now for a change of leaders, as they claim the current leadership is not doing anything impactful in their lives.

This anti-government protest gained momentum in late December 2025 and garnered global attention within that timeframe.
The people are complaining about the high rate of inflation and how the government is behind security forces who are ending lives for no specific reason.
According to reports, approximately 500 people have been unalived by state security, and thousands of people who engaged in these protests have sustained injuries.

Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, and his subordinates stated that the protests against his regime are a foreign-orchestrated one, though the grievances of the people are still valid.
President Trump stepped in to warn the Iranian leaders to fix this mess before his army strikes them with deadly weapons.

After his warning, Ali wanted to prove stubborn, but unfortunately, Trump was not in for games, so he issued the last and final warning, which obviously terrified Khamenei.

On January 12, 2026, Trump briefed the world on America’s Air Force One Press gaggle to reveal that the Leaders of Iran had listened to his advice and had called him to negotiate for peace and avoid any strike.
He emphasised that Iran is tired of being beaten by the US always, so this time, they are comporting themselves to avoid any damage.
