Jada Pinkett Smith has made new comments about the 2022 Oscars slap involving Will Smith and Chris Rock.
In an interview that is trending all over social media, Jada appeared to shame Will Smith’s actions.

She added that she was not romantically interested in Will then.
Jada said they were not even together at the time of the incident and the whole thing took her by surprise.

“We haven’t called each other husband and wife in a long time,” she told the reporter during the interview.
Jada claimed she was more worried about Will’s mental health. She also said she apologized to Chris Rock immediately.

The video has sparked wild allegations and backlash for Jada who is being called ungrateful for her response.
It was during the 94th Academy Awards. Chris Rock was on stage presenting an award. He made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head.

Chris compared her to G.I. Jane. Jada rolled her eyes and looked visibly upset. Will Smith was sitting in the audience. He laughed at first.
Will then walked onto the stage and slapped Chris Rock hard across the face.

Smith then shouted, “keep my wife’s name out your fucking mouth!”
