This journalist took to X, formerly Twitter to express her displeasure after a video of the proposal made it’s way online.
She commented, “SA men are so broke they even propose at KFC😂😂.. they have absolutely no class, I mean who proposes at KFC.”

Her comment triggered a lot of companies who decided to make the couple have a memorable wedding and honeymoon.
A car company offered to drive them to the airport after a holiday company offered to sponsor their honeymoon in Cape Town.
