The Ghana Education Service has taken swift action against the Assistant Headmaster(Academic) of KNUST SHS, Mr. Charles Akwasi Aidoo, after an inappropriate video of him and a female student went viral.

In a trending video, the student in a uniform was in a compromised position with the Headmaster, and they were getting touchy.
Her teacher was touching her.
They both seemed to enjoy the moment. The video got leaked after someone recorded it with a phone from another device, which could have been owned by the female student because she was recording the whole event with the teacher’s consent.
Most people who have been through the African/Ghanaian educational cycle would think this is normal because girls usually do it to better their grades, not only in high school but also in Universities.

It was hard to identify the school at first due to the low quality of the video, but as it went viral, people were able to identify the school as the KNUST Senior High in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
On Monday, September 29, 2025, the Ghana Education Service published a communique condemning the act and stated that they would get to the bottom of this matter with all seriousness and protect all students from situations like these.
In the release, it was stated that Mr. Aidoo is not allowed to go to the school premises at the investigations commence.
