Manchester City midfielder arrested in Spain over a 58-year old man’s phone in a nightclub incident

Manchester City midfielder, Mathieus Nunes has been arrested by the Spanish police at the La Riviera nightclub.

His arrest, which took place in Madrid came after allegedly stealing a mobile phone at a nightclub where he was having fun.

The report claims the incident occurred when a 58-year-old took a photo of Nunes without permission in a bathroom, leading the player to angrily seize the phone and refuse to return it.

The Portuguese winger was arrested in the hours of 5.30am on September 8 after he was accused of taking the phone from the 58-yr old man.

The report continued that the man and his crew made many efforts to take the phone back from Nunes but failed.

The 58 year old man then decided to involve the police which eventually led to the player’s arrest.
