Manchester United fire Ferguson from ambassadorial position in a bid to cut cost

Siir Alex Ferguson is stepping away from his Manchester United ambassadorial duties at the end of the season.

New part owners, INEOS have decided to cut Sir Alex Ferguson’s multi-million-pound ambassadorial contract with Manchester United, according to a reports per The AthleticFC.

In a face-to-face meeting at Old Trafford, Sir Jim Ratcliffe told Ferguson that the club are seeking to reduce costs.

Parts of the stratevies derived to cut cost is that they are no longer prepared to sustain his payments.

Ferguson will remain a non-executive director at the club, still obviously welcome to attend Man United games.

The legendary coach needs no introduction to football lovers all over the world.

Ferguson was know to be the mastermind behind the success of the Manchester based club for years having won multiple league titles and the champions league as well.
