With the prestigious Ballon D’Or award on the verge, football fans are eager to find out who wins at this year’s ceremony.
Former Madrid defender, Marcelo, has made claims about knowing who will win this year’s award. His statement comes as comment to a post on instagram.

In a post on his instagram, popular sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano, stated that nobody knows who is winning the Ballon D’Or.
He however added a list of nominees who are possibly winning the award at the coming even tonight.

Fabrizio also added that popular sports outlet, Marca, has shared that people will be shocked by tonight’s results.
As a reply to the post, Marcelo commented, “I know” and added a laughing emoji.
Marcelo’s comment has brought the integrity of the award into questioning as people are wondering if there has been a breach.

This year’s event will take place at the Theatre du Châtelet in Paris, France. The award will be presented by former Brazilian star, Ronaldinho.
