A 47 years old mother in Malawi has exchanged vows with her own biological 30 year old son in a distinct white wedding. The story of their marriage provoked an anger in Malawi and beyond.

A Malawian newspapers broke the news, the woman, Memory njemani, disclosed that she wedded her son because she has financed and invested enormous money on his schooling, hence She’s of the opinion that she cannot sacrifice for another person to feast from her sweat hence, she must enjoy her investment.
“I invested a lot of money in the education of my son. Why should another woman be married to him and enjoy my hard work i invested in him ? That will not happen. I’m marrying my son so that we don’t empower women who have been aborting” she lamented.
Nonetheless, socialites have condemned the mother of casting a spell on her son in marrying her because no God-fearing son in his right frame of mind will accept this.
