Newcastle United ‘plotting a transfer raid for four Manchester United players following £305m Saudi takeover
During the January transfer window, Newcastle United intends to raid Manchester United’s team.
After been purchased for £305 million by a Saudi Arabian-backed consortium, the Magpies are likely to spend a substantial amount of money.
Following their struggles to earn a regular place in Manchester United’s starting XI, the club is thought to have identified four Manchester United players to sign.
Newcastle are reportedly planning bids for Donny van de Beek, Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial, and Eric Bailly, according to The Mirror.
Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman leads the Saudi Public Investment Fund, and the takeover makes Newcastle United one of the wealthiest football clubs in the world.
