Thomas Partey’s loyalty questioned again as GFA release details of their communication with Arsenal after injury claim

Henry Asante Swum, Communication Director at the Ghana football association has shared some interesting details about Thomas Partey’s absence.

Henry shared his update in a phone conversation with Max TV in response to the reason Thomas Partey isn’t in the Black Stars camp.

“When we were told Thomas Partey was ill, we asked for evidence from Arsenal. They sent an email and added their evidence, but we were still not sure whether to believe it or not, so we asked that they send Partey over so our own medical team could run assessments to determine if he was truly sick.”

“We got an email back from Arsenal saying that Thomas Partey feels uncomfortable traveling for that number of hours for assessment, so we should rethink our decision.”

“We had discussions again, and the technical team decided not to force him, because if he says he’s sick and you still force him and there is an issue, who would be blamed?” He said in the conversation.

A soldier who has been assigned to guard APC presidential candidate, Hassan Ayariga has been caught doing something strange on duty.

In a video shared on X by EDHUB, the soldier was spotted chatting with a lady and gave him his mobile phone to exchange contacts with her.

It is commonly known in the Ghana Education system that teachers can be hit with transfer to other schools.

An American man named Phil has revealed he identifies as a baby, thus, he wears diapers and behaves as a baby.

Phil, who works as a ground worker says being a baby takes away all the stress that comes with being an adult.

At home, he drinks milk using a feeding bottle and sleeps in a huge baby cot. He also has a lot of toys which he plays with.

Interestingly, he doesn’t have to pay bills or worry about anything that comes with being a baby and his mum has been treating and pampering him just as a baby is treated.

D Black reveals he is looking for a wife

Ghanaian musician, D Black has revealed in an interview with GhanaWeb TV that he is looking for a wife since he plans to settle down by age 40.

Speaking about his relationship status, he revealed although he has never been married but has been through a long-term relationships and has children.

He also opened up on how much of a good and a supportive woman his baby mama is but stated clearly that there is nothing going on between them and they’re just co-parenting.

He said, “I’ve never been married. When I came into the music industry, I was in a relationship from when I was 22 to almost 30.”

“So I’ve been single for about seven or eight years….I’ll marry when l’m 40. I’m looking for a wife. At the right time, God will give me the right person.”

Excavator operator release video of police officers arriving at Galamsey site to receive their share of 20,000 to allow them continue work

An excavator operator who is working at an illegal mining site has shown a video of a group of armed policemen arriving at the site in a pickup vehicle.

You may be thinking their purpose at the site is to halt the illegal mining activities but no the officers have different ideas.

According to the operator, the group of officers arrived at the site to receive what they termed as ‘chop money’ before they are allowed to continue with their activities.

He added that another group of policemen also visited the site for an amount of GHS 20,000 a day before the arrival of these policemen.

The fight against illegal mining in the country is fast gaining momentum but then the attitude of some officers deployed to guard the sites isn’t going to help matters.

A young Ghanaian who is into illegal mining, has warned about the consequences ahead.

The young man was left with no option than to pack his tools and head back home from the Galamsey site due to intense pressure from Ghanaians.

According to him, authorities have succeeded in rendering him jobless by halting work at his Galamsey site.

As a result, he is prepared to go out on the streets and fight for a daily bread for himself and his family.

He warned in a video that his next option is to start robbing and k!ll!ing innocent citizens to get his daily bread.

West African Elders forum meets Ghana’s national election security taskforce ahead of election

A delegation from the West African Elders Forum (WAEF), has held a meeting with Ghana’s security taskforce.

The meeting was spearhead  by former Nigerian President, His Excellency (H.E.) Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.

They met with the National Elections Security Taskforce (NESTF) at the National Police Headquarters in Accra  as part of pre-election stakeholder engagements.

Chairman of NESTF, Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, briefed the delegation on the preparations and strategies in place to ensure peaceful elections on 7th December 2024.

Dr Louisa, wife of Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy has extended her generosity to a fan who is batling for his life.

The renowned dentist has covered the medical bill of a citizen who is currently on admission at the Korle Bu teaching hospital.

It was reported that the said fan was involved in a fatal acc!dent and had his hands damaged in the process.

Drobonso chief sacks Cheddar from his town for not asking for permission before campaigning in his town

Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar was sacked from Drobonso by the chief for disrespecting him when he went over there to campaign.

Cheddar, who is currently going on tour across the country to campaign with the hopes of being elected president come December 7 was attacked by the chief of Drobonso.

The whole issue has to do with Cheddar not going before the chief and his elders to ask for their permission and blessings to campaign in their town which is usually the norm.

The chief, addressing the disrespect of Cheddar revealed he had to sack him when he realised he was campaigning in his town when he had not asked for his permission.

He said, “Recently, one of the politicians, l am told he’s called Nana Kwame Bediako, came to this town and held a campaign at the lorry station without paying a courtesy call here at the palace.”

“Do you own a town? I drove him out of this town. If you visit my town to campaign and you fail to recognise that there’s a chief here, then you cannot campaign on my land. Someone cannot till the land for another person to harvest the crops.”
