Pep Guardiola calls for Cease Fire in Gaza

Former Footballer for FC Barcelona and arguably one of the best coaches to grace the beautiful game, Pep Guardiola, has called for a fire in Gaza, Palestine.

The Israeli-Palestine conflict, one of the world’s greatest conflicts, which never ends, is currently going on as Israel acts in retaliation.
The Genesis of the latest aspect of the unending war commenced after a rebel union, Hamas, attacked Israel on Saturday morning, October 7, 2023, unprovoked.

Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, assured his country that the Israel Defence Force, IDF, will execute a strong clap back at Gaza for the lives that were lost, and since then, the people of Gaza have been living in fear for 2 years and counting.

In the football fraternity, Athletic Bilbao, a Spanish side, has just disclosed their stance on this matter and is urging the world to support Gaza and bring an end to this serious conflict.

The Manchester United Coach, Pep Guardiola, in a short video, stated that the world is witnessing genocide, which is taking away many children and will still take more if the world doesn’t rise and speak truth to power. He also said that people are living without shelter, no food to eat, and just enduring unending pain in the Gaza Strip, which is highly unfair.

Most world leaders are afraid to side with Plaestine because of how powerful Isreal and its allies are but a few miniority who have spoke on behalf of Gaza and that includes the President of Ghana, John Mahama who criticised the United Nations at the 2025 General Assmebly in New York, to find a long-lasting solution to save lives and stop actinglike cowards while the truth of the matter is glarring.

Diplomats who were present at the recent UN General Assembly staged a protest against Israel’s Genocide when the prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, was about to give his speech, but that didn’t faze him; he went ahead to say Israel will finish what they have started in Gaza.
