Prince Harry and Meghan welcome second child


Prince Harry and his Wife Meghan have announced the birth of the second child.

The American born former actress gave birth to a 7lb 11oz daughter on Friday, June 4, in California and both mother and child are healthy and well according to an official release.

The newborn has been named Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, after both her grandmother and great-grandmother, according to a statement published on the couple’s Archewell website on Sunday, 2021.

The official statement announcing the birth of their daughter read; “On June 4, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”

Harry made the decision of relocating to America with his wife amidst “racism” rumour leveled against the royal family in Britain.

When Prince Philip the husband of Queen Elizabeth died who is Harry’s grandmother died, Meghan could not attend because she was heavily pregnant at the time.

People have since taken to social media to congratulate the couple and wish them well as they begin to nurture their family.
