Popular Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stoneboy 1GAD has been on a musical tour since last week outside the country. His tour had a lot of fans packed at the venue very lit up even on nights when it rained. He performed at the yam carnival at UK,London
Before the carnival in the UK, London stoneboy and his team paid a courtesy visit to the embassy of the Ghanaian High Commissioner in the UK Papa Owusu Ankomah four days ago.
Amidst their interaction, 1GAD made mention of the fact that the royalties he has ever received amounts to two thousand Ghana Cedis only. The High Commissioner for Ghana was shocked upon hearing this information from Stoneboy.

In response to Stoneboy’s claims, legendary musician Rex Omar voiced out that the musician has only been a member of Ghamro for two years, and his two thousand cedis payment has been for those years.
They claim the artiste became a member of Ghamro in 2019 so he received royalties for only 2 years but they are the same people holding money for other artists who haven’t signed up with Ghamro.
How did they collect those monies when the artist has not registered?” .This was the initial response to Rex Omar’s comment on the claims made by stoneboy.
The banter has not yet ended as Bhimnatives have been charged and supportive of their President in this charge he promised them to keep.He went on to jab Rex Omar and the Ghamro saying they should stop the defense and attack mechanisms.
Rex Omar And @Ghamro_official please put away the defensive and attack mechanism against artistes stop throwing dust into the eyes of the people. we have had meetings to no avail.this royalty issue has been since you were a young artiste. are you happy about the state of affairs?— 1GAD (@stonebwoy) August 30, 2021
