River Anuru, located in the Ashanti Region reportedly diverted and blocked by Galamseyers

Photos of River Anuru, a popular river located in the Ashanti Region has hit online and it doesn’t look good at all.

According to reports we gathered, the river has been blocked and diverted to different routes by illegal miners.

The issues surrounding illegal mining in Ghana seems not to be one that can end anytime soon due to the heavy distraction it is causing.

Recently, it was reported that the Weija dam, which is linked and fed by river Densu is beginning to change its Colors as it has been polluted by Galamseyers.

Thus is a threat to a large part of Accra which depends on the Weija Dam for water supply.
