British-Nigerian Boxer, Anthony Joshua has reportedly been involved in an accident in Nigeria.
After his bout with Jake Paul in Miami, USA, Joshua decided to visit his fatherland to connect with his people as he always does at the end of the year, but the 2025 visit did not end well for the boxer.

He was driving on the Makun, Ogun state road on December 29, 2025, around 10:30 AM.
Eyewitnesses rushed to the scene to help Anthony Joshua out before it got worse.

It was reported that the incident occurred along a busy highway of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Due to his popularity, people around the vicinity all rushed to help the situation, so he was pulled out, but from the available footage, he was groaning.
Going through the comment, someone alleged that 2 people tragically lost their lives after the car collided with Joshua’s car, but the Lagos Police are yet to communicate what truly caused the accident.
They usually visit Nigeria with the boxer to get a feel of the culture. Their names are yet to be revealed.

The Nigerian Police are still conducting their investigation to find the cause of the tragic incident, but the rumoured cause is overspeed and unwarranted overtaking.
