The President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has taken over the internet after delivering a powerful speech at the the United Nations on September 25, 2025, in New York City, USA.
His Excellency, John Mahama, didn’t mince words when he took over the stage. It is globally known that the Israeli-Palestine war has been going on for decades now, and the world has been siding with Israel instead of urging both parties to solve whatever problem it is amicably.

Ghana’s First Gentleman disclosed that all the world leaders in the room at that moment have been playing hide and seek with the problem and acting like they don’t know the real language to address the issue with, while children and women are losing their lives as a daily routine in Gaza.

According to Mr. Mahama, Ghana recognised the state of Palestine in 1998 and supported a two-state solution to solve the problem.
He also said, “Contrary to the claims of some, a two-state solution will not be a reward for Hamas. It will be a reprieve for the hundreds of thousands of innocent women, children, and people who are facing collective punishment and forced starvation for no reason other than they’re Palestinian.”
Due to the power of Israel, most world leaders have sided with them to avoid future conflicts, but it seems the President of Ghana is seeking a cease-fire for the minority suffering in Gaza daily.
