Thirty-one members of the ‘Patriot Front,’ a white supremacist group, were arrested in downtown Coeur d’Alene on Saturday. When police began arresting the men on the side of the road, they were all dressed in khakis, navy blue shirts, and beige hats, with white balaclavas covering their faces.

The group was discovered when a “concerned citizen” reported spotting a group of masked males in a U-Haul that “appeared like a tiny army,” according to Police Chief White. Based on the equipment they possessed, he said they built probable cause to arrest individuals involved.

All 31 persons have been charged with conspiracy to riot, a misdemeanor in Idaho, according to Coeur d’Alene Police Chief. He claimed the men had shields, additional protection gear, and at least one smoke grenade on them. Police believe they were planning a riot at the Pride Festival and numerous other locations downtown, based on evidence and documents gathered.
