“Tomorrow it can be you” – NDC’s Ato Forson to crowd on why March for Justice demo is necessary
There is an ongoing demonstration in Ghana led by the largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress.
The main purpose of the demonstration according the party’s leadership is to send awareness to Government over ongoing security concerns in the country.
The Ghana Police and Armed Forces were the topics of discussion in the public domain few days ago when some personnels from the service were seen in videos brutalizing citizens.
One of those incidents to place in the Upper West regional Capital, Wa while the much talked about clash at Ejura is also another issue on its own.
Addressing the crowd presence at the demonstration, Ato Forson, a high ranking Member if the NDC stated emphatically that it doesn’t matter which political party one belongs to but the demo is very necessary.
Using the sad incident at Ejura as a reference, He explained that the security personnels who are supposed to protect the citizens are rather shooting at them and that is the reason everyone must take part in their demonstration because nobody knows who is going to be the next victim of the Military shootings.
