Nollywood star Charles Okocha was left stunned after receiving a $50,000 cash gift from Nigerian billionaire Tony Elumelu.
A viral video on social media shows Okocha leaving Elumelu’s office when an envelope is handed to him.

When he opens it and sees the dollar bills inside, he erupts with excitement — running around, shouting and celebrating in his signature dramatic style.
Supporters and friends around him cheer as he expresses his gratitude, repeatedly calling Elumelu “Santa Elumelu.”

The video was also posted by Okocha himself on Instagram with the caption: “SANTA ELUMELU!!!! 50K USD God bless you my Mentor!! @tonyoelumelu.”
Tony Elumelu is chairman of United Bank for Africa (UBA) and Heirs Holdings, and founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation.

He is also known for supporting entrepreneurship and giving back to communities across Africa.
The $50,000 cash gift translates to roughly ₦82 million in Nigerian currency at the current exchange rate.
