“We are tired! Our back is against the wall” Stonebwoy charges on GHAMRO and Musigha.

Stonebwoy laments on twitter about the improper structure and maintenance of the GHAMRO.

Ghana Music Rights Organisation, shortly know as GHAMRO is a non-profit corporate entity established to collect and distribute royalties on behalf of autors/composers and other right owners.

Unlike other countries, GHAMRO has no proper structure for musicians in Ghana, thus making the organization lack the capacity to properly account for songs of Ghanaian artists played in various parts of the country.

A national music summit is said to had happened yesterday where some artists in Ghana were in expectance of some new reforms that would have benefited them.

Popular Ghanaian reggae/dancehall musician Stonebwoy who felt disappointed after the summit, took to Twitter to poor his heart concerning the same excuses being repeated by GHAMRO.

As a result, he called upon some board members including Rex Omar and Abraham Kofi Boakye, telling them they are tired.
