Wendy Shay Threatens Producers of “Slay” a Nigerian Movie For Using Her Song Without Her Consent
Rufftown Records lead singer Wendy Shay has sent some legal threat to the producers of Nollywood film “Slay” for featuring her song in the movie without contacting her.
In a post on twitter the “Uber Driver” hitmaker said she was disappointed in the producers for what they have done as such conducts only undermine the hard work and efforts of musicians.
She has given them an ultimatum of contacting her immediately or face a legal action against them.
The Movie produced by Adze Ugah featured popular movie icon Ramsey Nouah among other stars.
It’s currently on Netflix.

So,I watched this movie last night on Netflix and my song, ’All for you' was featured without my consent or that of my team. Producers of the movie 'Slay',it is a crime to use someone's intellectual property without her consent.
