Wode Maya denied Botswana Visa for the 10th time

Botswana has turned down a visa request from Ghanaian YouTube sensation Wodemaya, known for his extensive travels and social media influence.

The digital media personality, who boasts a following of over 1.7 million, had expressed a keen interest in visiting Botswana, having previously traveled extensively across the globe.

Maya has praised neighboring Namibia as one of his favorite destinations among the numerous countries he has been to.

In response to the visa denial, Wodemaya took to Facebook to share his frustration and announced his alternative plans.

“Since Botswana is still not granting my visa, let me quickly fly to Tamale for my favorite meat (Guinea fowl),” he posted, signaling his intent to shift his travel focus.

Weeks ago, the YouTube star raised eyebrows that it is the tenth time that he is filling for Visa Application to visit Botswana.

He also laments bitterly, asking why as an African, one must obtain a visa before traveling to another African country.
