Media Personality Giovani Elolo Caleb has said as it stands, people would have to be responsible for their safety and security in Ghana

The host of 3fm’s drive show and Date Rush on Tv took to his Facebook page to state this.

It’s unclear if this was in reaction to what could simply be the biggest story today.

Earlier report captured by many portals suggest a robbery attack on a bullion van around Korle Bu in broad daylight.

The disturbing incident led to the demise of a a young police constable whose name has only been given as Emma.

A civilian whose name was given as Badu also lost her life in the process.

A bullion van was attacked by gunmen who went about shooting the police escorting the van in th head killing him instantly and one woman whose house was just by the road at the scene the robbery happened.

The robbers emptied the van of all the monies are bolted, the police are yet to make an arrest and there is no official release from the Police service yet.

The past few months have seen issues of robbery getting high, perhaps it’s as a result Giovai believes safety has become an individual thing that a state responsibility.
